Technician Training Available through Cecil College

Both Online and In-person Courses Available

Did you know Cecil Community College has a course that prepares individuals for a career as a Pest Management Technician? This 16-week program consists of classroom learning paired with an externship experience. Students learn industry regulations, safety, entomology and insects, use of pesticides, handling pests, customer service, route management and more. At the conclusion of program, students will:

• be eligible to take the Certified Technician Exam for the state of Maryland immediately after course completion
• test to become a Registered Technician for the State of Delaware
• test to earn a National Pest Management Association certificate

This is a great program to prepare candidates to work in our industry! Cecil Community College is always looking for externship opportunities for the students working through this program. If you would be willing to host an externship please contact Amanda Pringle at apringle@cecil.edu.
